Nonfiction reading

One of my favorite quotes about reading is by Dr. Seuss. He said, "The more you read, the more you know. The more you know, the smarter you grow!"

This week, many of my wonderful readers have been reading nonfiction books to learn new information about the world around them.  These are some of the things they have learned...through reading!

Oscar learned, "Snakes can climb trees and some snakes can be pets."
