I am excited to be working with five wonderful groups of kindergarten students this quarter. We are working hard on letter identification, letter-sound matching, pointing to words while reading, using picture clues, and also identifying word families so that we become better readers and writers. Three of the kindergarten groups are working on using magnetic letters, markers, and word cards to learn short vowel word patterns (such as -og, -at, -op). Below you will see some of the great work they are doing!
